Who we are
PorchLight Insights is a boutique data and performance consulting firm that works primarily with public and nonprofit sector agencies. We help government and nonprofit clients maximize their use of data to manage operations and drive key strategic decisions. We were co-founded by Kate Bender and Julie Steenson, who have a collective 30+ years working in local government and running a successful data office. We are a company that seeks to enhance and grow the field of data in the public sector and we seek a candidate that will embody this vision with us.
PorchLight Insights is seeking to grow our team for the first time by adding additional project management capacity. This position will work closely with PorchLight Insights' co-founders to ensure client success and extend our existing services.
Responsibilities
Project planning and tracking
Client communication and scheduling
Data entry, cleaning and analysis
Research and survey development
Presentation preparation and delivery
Report writing
Required Qualifications
Curious, self-directed, and collaborative
Ability to analyze and synthesize information and data to arrive at insights
At least 5-9 years of experience in the public sector in a role requiring project management, communication with stakeholders and data analysis
Compensation
