Strategic Plan + Parks and Recreation Master Plan

PorchLight Insights partnered with the City of Roeland Park to develop a new ten-year strategic plan and a parks and recreation master plan. We partnered with DRAW Architecture + Urban Design for additional expertise to inform the Parks and Recreation Master Plan.

The project included extensive community engagement as well as integration of data from the city’s community survey. The final strategic plan and parks and recreation master plan included an implementation tracking framework and were adopted in April 2026.
