Strategic Plan + Parks and Recreation Master Plan

PorchLight Insights began work for the City of Roeland Park in the spring of 2025 to develop a new ten-year Strategic Plan and a Parks and Recreation Master Plan. We partnered with DRAW Architecture + Urban Design for additional expertise to inform the Parks and Recreation Master Plan.

The project is currently in a community engagement phase, which has involved facilitation of the Ad Hoc Strategic Plan Committee, open houses in conjunction with community events, roundtable discussions with existing committees, a business survey, and revision of a resident survey. Plan Development is the final project phase.
