Performance Framework & Capacity Building
PorchLight Insights is in its fourth year of work with the City of Wichita supporting data-informed management. In 2025, PorchLight supported development of a strategic plan framework for Wichita. Creation of the strategic plan framework involved review of prior strategic documents to identify pillars and define goals, objectives, strategies, and tactics while facilitating input from executive leadership, finance and budget, IT, department leadership, and the Mayor and Council. Project work has also involved development and administration of a survey for employees and use of the city’s resident survey data.
The project is currently focused on development of a performance management system for the strategic plan, including development of performance measurement reporting and a plan monitoring system.
